It’s been over a decade since Disney fans were introduced to Tiana in the Princess and the Frog! Since then, the animated film has become a staple and a fan favorite throughout Disney’s history.
Now more of the film’s influence is making its way to Disney Parks. In 2020, Disney announced that Princess and the Frog would take over theming for Splash Mountain ad Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The attraction is said to take you on an adventure through the bayou, with Tiana as your fearless leader!
Sneak Peek: NEW DETAILS RELEASED ABOUT NEW “PRINCESS AND THE FROG” ATTRACTION
But this doesn’t seem to be the only retheming that Princess and the Frog will take part in. Disneyland Guests have been noticing some changes going on to another location in New Orleans Square.
It seems like what used to be Le Bat En Rouge inside Disneyland has been enhanced and is hinting at something to do with Tiana! Located on Royal Street, and just a couple doors down from the exclusive Club 33, Le Bat En Rouge served as a retail location. And recently, before it closed down, featured a lot of the beautiful Disney dresses that you would typically find in Downtown Disney.
Unfortunately, this retail location has become a thing of the past, but something exciting looks like it may be replacing Le Bat En Rouge. Disneyland has not officially announced anything, but some signs have appeared in the windows. Take a look!

With a brand new paint job, it looks like Tiana belongs here.

There’s a few signs that suggest this might be a quick service food area. We speculate quick service only because of the size of the building. And with the Royal Street Veranda being closed, this could definitely replace it. It would be a perfect spot for gumbo in a bread bowl!
What do you think this new location will be? Let us know in the comments!
This Princess and the Frog spot looks like it’s gonna be awesome! I can’t wait to see it when it’s complete!
