With only two days left until Christmas, the Walt Disney World Railroad has reopened just in time for the holidays.

The Walt Disney World Railroad reopened on Friday, December 23, 2022, after being closed for four years.

Disney did not announce the re-opening.

It reopened at 10 am, with the train running until 6 pm on reopening day, according to Walt Disney World’s website.

The train will run from 9 am until 6 pm for Christmas Eve through December 29; it will run 9 am to 4 pm on December 30 and December 31.

The hours will resume from 9 am to 6 pm on January 1, 2023.

During the closure, some of the tracks were replaced and train engines were refurbished.

The reason for the closure in December 2018 was due to construction of TRON Lightcycle/ Run in Tomorrowland. TRON Lightcycle/ Run will open spring 2023.
