The Grinch has arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood for the holiday festivities, which is currently underway until Sunday, January 1.
The beloved character is located for a meet and greet inside Universal Plaza – titled Grinchmas Plaza for the holidays. He is available for pictures all day but there is a line, which builds up fairly quickly as the day goes. It is recommended guests head straight to the line for the Grinch at park opening. The line was only 30 minutes at that park opening. By 3:30 pm, the line was 120 minutes.
Across the plaza is a meet and greet with his dog Max. Who-ville characters are also walking around the Plaza to talk and take pictures with.
Cindy-Lou Who leads daily story times with How The Grinch Stole Christmas inside the Plaza.

Guests can enjoy a tree lighting ceremony every evening while The Grinch tells his story with the Who-ville Whos. The 65-foot tall topsy-turvy tree features thousands of LED lights and a variety of ornaments.
The Wholiday Tree Lighting ceremony takes place five times a night: 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:15 and 8 pm. After story time, a snowball flurry marks the end of the magical evening. The ceremony is a must do when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood during the holiday season.
Additionally, Who-ville post office accepts postcards with holiday messages.
Inside Universal Plaza there is a number of holiday-themed drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as sweet treats – including Grinch themed items like the Grinch Funnel Cake.
The Grinchmas Who-bilation is located at Universal Plaza inside Universal Studios Hollywood from November 25 until January 1. The holiday festivities are included in the price of admission to the park.
