Tonight is the night that Walt Disney World debuted their new nighttime spectacular! Disney Enchantment made its grand debut to Guests at the Magic Kingdom!

But, if you couldn’t make it to the Magic Kingdom Park tonight, no worries, because Disney Parks streamed the spectacular live so that Disney fans around the world could join in on the celebration!

The night kicked off with a surprise appearance and performance from Grammy Award Winning, Christina Aguilera. She graced the stage in front of the all new 50th anniversary decorated castle. Aguilera sang the Disney song that helped put her on the map, “Reflection” from Disney’s Mulan.

Next, Chief Operating Officer of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Chapek, and Walt Disney Company Executive Chairman, Bob Iger both took to the stage. They spoke of the history of Walt Disney World and just how special this anniversary is! Then just as it was 50 years ago, the Disney executives dedicated the Walt Disney World Resort and their months-long celebration of the most magical place on earth.

Finally, the spectacular begins! The night sky above Cinderella Castle is once again illuminated with pyrotechnics, lasers, and brilliant lights! As the beautiful tune of “You are the Magic” fills the air, Guests must know that their witnessing pure magic. More familiar Disney favorites old and new are projected on the castle and throughout Main Street.
