After many months of anticipation, The Cake Bake Shop is now open at Disney’s Boardwalk. Gwendolyn Rogers is ecstatic about bringing her unique business concept to Walt Disney World.
The Cake Bake Shop is a new table service restaurant and bakery. They offer both savory and dessert menus, along with an afternoon tea service. All in a whimsical atmosphere that complements the magic of the idyllic charm of Disney’s BoardWalk Resort that guests know and love.
Discover this new bakery with a whimsical atmosphere that complements the idyllic charm of Disney’s BoardWalk. Upon entering, you’ll find counters lined with handmade cakes that are one-of-a-kind in beauty and taste, attractively displayed on French porcelain platters topped with glass domes.

Upon walking through the French doors, you can see a wide array of bakery goods and exquisite merchandise.
Gwendolyn’s shops offer the most incredible experience from ‘The Best Quiche You Will Ever Have’ to homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, even a true French Croque Monsieur. Behind the kitchen window you can see the master bakers.
The dining area has a beautiful interior for guests to appreciate inside the restaurant. You’ll see sparkling chandeliers over head, antiqued mirrors, French inspired furniture, and beautiful seasonal decorations.
For now, The Cake Bake Shop is only accepting walk-ups. We can expect to see a reservation system in place later once the staff adjusts to handling customers.
Situated along the BoardWalk promenade at the former site of ESPN Club, The Cake Bake Shop is within walking distance from the back entrance of Epcot. It’s a convenient spot for Epcot guests looking to take a short break.
The bakery is open daily from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM. The restaurant side of the Cake Bake Shop will serve breakfast from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Immediately thereafter, lunch and dinner will be served from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM.
