Super Nintendo World Celebrates First Year in Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the one-year anniversary of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ with the grand opening of the Power Up Cafe, the release of a special Golden Power-Up Band™, and a complimentary 1-Year Anniversary Button.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD has been voted as the “Best New Attraction of 2023” by Theme Park Insider readers, coinciding with celebratory news.

The celebratory news of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD being voted as the “Best New Attraction of 2023” coincides with the opening of the all-new Power Up Cafe on New York Street, offering Super Mario™ Power Up themed menu items that can be ordered in-person or through the Universal Studios Hollywood mobile app. Snacks and beverages include:

Super Mushroom Calzone: Mushroom shaped calzone filled with pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce

1-Up Mushroom Calzone: Mushroom shaped calzone filled with spinach, green pepper, mushroom, mozzarella cheese and basil pesto

Fire Flower Pretzel: Fire Flower shaped pretzel served with chipotle cheese, mustard and white queso dipping sauces

Super Star Popcorn: Butter popcorn topped with edible glitter

Drop in the Power Up sugar shapes to change the color and flavor.

In celebration of its one-year anniversary, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD will release a special Golden Power-Up Band, expanding its collection of Power-Up Band designs with character themes, which will be available for purchase at retail shops within the theme park starting on February 17.

Guests can also receive a complimentary 1-Year Anniversary Button at Guest Relations in the theme park, starting February 17 and while supplies last.
