You’ll soon be able to make more new friends at Walt Disney World! Here’s a recap of new meet and greet characters announced for 2023.
- Moana will come to Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning April 22, just in time for the park’s 25th anniversary. She will greet fellow voyagers on Discovery Island.
- This fall, Mirabel from “Encanto” will be on hand to greet guests in Fairytale Garden at Magic Kingdom, which will be transformed “with whimsical décor inspired by la Familia Madrigal.”
- Later this summer, EPCOT icon Figment will meet guests at the Imagination! Pavilion.
The new faces announced come after the return of other character experiences including Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto and Pete’s Silly Sideshow at Magic Kingdom.
Also recently, The Mandalorian and Grogu became staples within Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
