It is the end of 2022 and 2023 is just around the corner. Although there is no specific opening date yet, Universal Studios Hollywood announced that Super Nintendo World is scheduled to open in early 2023. I recently visited the park and took pictures and videos of the land which is still under construction. It looks like the land is almost done and is right on schedule.

Universal Studios Japan opened up their Super Mario World back in March of 2021. It’s a fun land to be in and it looks like a Nintendo fan’s dream come true.

Since opening, guests have been using a power up band to get a full experience of the land. It makes you kinda feel like you’re playing Super Mario but in real life. It connects to the park app and lets you collect coins, unlock stamps, battle enemies and it also let you track your progress and leaderboard rankings in real time while in the land.

They also have Nintendo themed popcorn buckets and sippers which are a must have for any fan of the game.

Super Nintendo World in Japan started putting up decor for this year’s Holiday Season and it looks amazing. I hope we get this in Universal Studios Hollywood for the Holiday Season when the land opens up.

Early 2023 cannot come fast enough. I am really excited for all the cool things we will be able to experience from Super Nintendo World. For now, you can buy Super Mario merchandise from stores inside Universal Studios Hollywood as well as stores from Universal Citywalk Hollywood.
