Universal Studios Hollywood announced the dates for this year’s holiday festivities, as well as the return of the beloved Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Grinchmas.

The “Awesomest Celebration of the Season’ will start at Universal Studios Hollywood on Friday, November 25, 2022 and will run daily through Sunday, January 1, 2023.

During Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, guests can enjoy Hot Butterbeer as they savor the spirit of the holidays in Hogsmeade, complete with an a capella performance from the Hogwarts Frog Choir.

After the sun sets, The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle will come to life, with a light projection set to music and sounds from the Harry Potter film franchise.

Guests can enjoy holiday themed food at Three Broomsticks and shop for holiday items including personalized ornaments and notebooks throughout Hogsmeade.

The Grinchmas Who-bilation will be located at Universal Plaza inside Universal Studios Hollywood, featuring a 65 foot tall topsy-turvy tree with thousands of LED lights and a variety of ornaments. The Grinch and his dog Max will be available for photo opportunities throughout the day with Cindy-Lou Who leading daily story times with How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Guests can enjoy a tree lighting ceremony every evening while The Grinch tells his story with the Who-ville Whos. After story time, a snowball flurry will mark the end of the magical evening.

Additionally, Who-ville post office will accept postcards with holiday messages.

Guests can enjoy a hot cup of cocoa as well as other sweet holiday treats during the festivities.

Admission to the holiday festivities is included in the price of admission to the park. It is set to run daily from Friday, November 25, 2022 until Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Universal CityWalk will feature holiday decor and a 40-foot tall Christmas tree with 200,000 LED lights.

Vooddoo Doughnut at CityWalk will also have seasonal flavors guests will surely enjoy.
