So far, the resort has welcomed back character cavalcades and small musical groups in the parks. But, the big question on everyone’s mind are when can we expect shows and parades?

Now, we’ve learned with the new separately ticketed Merriest Nites events, that Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy A Christmas Fantasy Parade. As far as we know, this will not be made available to the public during normal operation hours. But in its place, possibly a Santa Claus and Mickey and Minnie cavalcade.

But if crowd control is what the Disneyland Resort is concerned about, couldn’t they schedule future show times and parades during low volume days, while still keeping up with health and safety protocol.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they welcomed back Beauty and the Beast Live, with some health and safety modifications. All characters are keeping safe distance. And groups of guests are spaced safely as well in the theatre.

Quite recently the Walt Disney World Resort announced they were welcoming back and updated Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

It’s possible that Disney is testing these measures and practices to see how they would work at the Disneyland Resort. So that hopefully we could bring back fan favorites like Mickey and the Magical Map and the Magic Happens parade. Only time will tell, but we will keep you updated on the latest!

What show or parade would you like to see return to the Disneyland Resort? Let us know in the comments!
