The Walt Disney World Resort is in full transformation mode as it nears its 50th anniversary. There is so much newness coming to the resort in celebration and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Thank goodness we don’t have to wait much longer, because opening October 1, is the new Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.

The steakhouse will be located on the Contemporary’s first floor and will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant will have subtle nods to the 1970s because that’s when Wal Disney World opened in 1971. And these chefs have created some impressive menus with taste, creativity, nostalgia, and family in mind.

So let’s take a first look at what Steakhouse 71 has to offer!

Their breakfast menu offers classics like Steak and Eggs and and Eggs Benedict. However their morning cocktails are anything but traditional. We can’t wait to try their Bourbon Cold Brew or their Steakhouse Bloody Mary!

For lunch, we’re betting that this will be the best Prime Rib Sandwich we will every have! And we just might have to try the Steak “Frites”.

Even though Steakhouse 71 will be known for their steak, they have consciously chosen a menu rhapsody has someone for everyone. And that is so refreshing to see!

This is a place where you cannot skip out on dessert. You’re not going to want to miss out on the Jack Daniels infused Steakhouse 71 Chocolate Cake!
