The second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 is here and it’s a really good one!

I had the amazing opportunity to see “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” at CGV Cinemas in Buena Park, and on a stunning 4DX screen, and hosted by our friend Kristen (@thehappiestclubonearth). As guests for this special screening, we also got to see and meet some masters of martial arts, Wong’s Gong Fu.

Marvel Studios gives a quick overview of the film:
Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.

Dorky Dad Review:
The film ties in perfectly with the way Phase Four has been unfolding. The comedic scenes were very entertaining without being too much to take away from the story. The pacing of this movie is action packed! It does not slow down and just keeps delivering on action and entertainment. Awkwafina’s character was excellent and she was responsible for some of my favorite moments throughout the film.
*Dorky Dad Tip*- Make sure you stay after the film credits, because there’s not 1 but 2 end credit scenes! Trust me, you’re going to want to stay for both!

All in all, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is a must see! And if you are able to catch this film in a CGV Cinema with a 4DX screen, I highly recommend it!
Will you be seeing Marvel’s “Shang-Chi” in theaters? Let us know in the comments!
