Halloween is fast approaching and there is tons of fun to be had all over Southern California! With the holiday only being one month away, we are diving into the must see hot spots for the spooky season this year!

After 2020’s drive-thru only experience, it’s awesome to know that the Los Angeles 2021 version will be returning back to its original roots as and outdoor walk through experience. The event will still be safe and socially distanced, while still offering plenty of displays of your favorite spooky movies. To help promote their “31 Days of Halloween” program, the event will feature the likes of “The Addams Family”, “Hocus Pocus”, and even “Ghost Busters”. There are also treats and cocktails available. Tickets for this even start at $37 and go on sale beginning September 1. This experience will only run from October 1 through October 5, and these tickets sell out fast. Los Angeles Haunted Hayride-

Celebrating it’s 13th year, the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is making it’s annual return. The hayride takes place in the fictional town of Midnight Falls. You will also ride through a dark forest and creepy mazes. The Haunted Hayride will run from September 25 through October 31. Six Flags Fright Fest-

At Six Flags Magic Mountain, when night falls, monsters take over the park. The nighttime event begins September 11 and runs through October 31 in Valencia. For tickets and more information, please visit sixflags.com.

Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights-

One of the most popular events in Los Angeles is Halloween Horror Nights. With plenty of terrifying mazes and scare zones, you will want to bring a group with you. This year, HHN will be featuring special mazes from “The Haunting of Hill House”, “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers”, and the Terror Tram: “The Ultimate Purge”. Knott’s Scary Farm-

At Buena Park’s Knott’s Berry Farm, the night brings out over 1,000 monsters waiting just to spook you. During the day time, there is plenty of family friendly activities for the Halloween season. Oogie Boogie Bash-

We’ve definitely done a lot of talking about this event at Disney California Adventure. This separately ticketed event has something for the whole family. Although it doesn’t pack on the terror, it’s definitely an experience you will never forget! There are plenty of trick-or-treat trails and you might even spot your favorite Disney villain!
