Paint The Night parade officially made it's Disneyland Resort debut on May 22, 2015 as part of Disneyland's Diamond Celebration. It came back for a a short time during the 2016 Holiday Season before it was replaced with The Main Street Electrical Parade on January 20, 2017. It officially returned to the Disneyland Resort in Disney California Adventure for Pixar Fest on April 12, 2018 and ended it's run on November 7, 2018. I really hope they bring it back to the Disneyland Resort soon. It featured various floats and characters including Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Lightning McQueen, The Incredibles, a few of the Disney Princesses, Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, and of course Mickey Mouse. The best way I could describe it is it's a modern version of the Main Street Electrical Parade. This parade utilized over 1.5 million LED lights. Have you seen this parade? Wondrous Journeys is the new nighttime spectacular in Disneyland in celebration of Disney 100. It debuted to the public on January 27, 2023. The storytelling for this new show is amazing and features characters from all 62 of Disney's animated movies. The soundtrack matches perfectly with both projections and fireworks.
