San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort will open summer 2023.
Construction at Pacific Wharf is currently underway, with the Disney Parks Blog the opening date as well as what guests can see and find in San Fransokyo.
San Franksokyo is from the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award winning film Big Hero 6.
It is a mash up of San Francisco and Tokyo featured in the film.
The San Fransokyo Gate Bridge will span San Fransokyo Square to the Paradise Gardens Park obelisk.
After you cross the bridge, you can see a floating wind turbine on top of the old fishing net tannery.
At the south end of San Fransokyo, outside a converted warehouse, guests can meet Baymax.
Restaurants at Pacific Wharf – including Cocina Cucamonga, Lucky Fortune Cookery and more will all be open during construction.
After San Fransokyo’s opening, guests will able to enjoy more Asian-inspired dishes as well as the new Port of San Fransokyo Cerveceria – which has signage in Japenese, English and Spanish.
There will also be a beer garden where guests can enjoy festoon lights and papel picado.
San Fransokyo will open this summer at Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort during the Disney 100 celebration – which kicked off in January.
